My Commitment

As a graduate of the Marquette University Law School, I am proud of my commitment to justice. My educational background, desire to help others, familiarity with technology, and experience working with diverse communities makes me highly qualified to help you with your legal issues related to injury law or consumer law. I am an expert when it comes to legal research and writing.  My research skills are effective because I rely on a number of sources, including internet- and print-based sources.  I earned three CALI awards for excellence in the fields of administrative law, arbitration, and advanced tort law. Before entering private practice, I spent most of my career working for City and County governments. Working for the government, I performed extensive legal research and helped citizens obtain government services. My background in helping people enables me to put clients at ease, which creates a comfortable and productive environment.

Before becoming a sole practitioner, I worked with an attorney helping individuals who were badly injured, including clients affected by traffic accidents, slip and fall injuries, dog bites, defective products, whiplash, and serious spinal injuries.

The practice of law is one of the most rewarding and challenging activities a person can pursue. A lawyer's highest calling involves helping people victimized by the careless or negligent acts of others. I help people who need help the most.

I am a local, neighborhood attorney. Instead of processing a large number of cases, I try to help real people in my community that have real problems. There are many types of law that an attorney can practice, including corporate law, patent law, sports law, and estate law. I choose to practice injury law and consumer law because these specialties allow me to have the greatest positive impact within my community. My passion for what I do is illustrated by my hard work and success. My love for what I do manifests itself in the appreciation expressed by people I have helped in the past.

My clients get the attention they deserve. I personally answer your telephone calls, visit you at home when your injury makes traveling to my office difficult, and work long hours. I will treat your case as if it is my most important case, even if you have suffered a lesser harm than another client I represent. I recognize that any person who places their trust in me to help them during a time of need deserves my undivided attention, commitment, and diligence.

Unfortunately, many attorneys are expensive. If you have been injured due to the carelessness or negligent acts of another, I recover no fee unless I make a recovery for you at the conclusion of your case. If you are the victim of unethical business practices, the person that victimized you usually pays my fees.

If you are visiting my website, you or someone you know probably needs to speak with an attorney because you have been victimized by another person's negligence or wrongdoing. It is vital that you discuss your case with a qualified attorney prior to discussing your case with anyone else, especially an insurance company. Also, you should have an attorney present during any interview or statement you make regarding the situation. You should also talk to an attorney if an insurance company has offered you a settlement to make sure that the settlement will adequately compensate you for past and future damages you may incur. Not speaking with an attorney before making these important decisions is the most common mistake people make. After a bad decision is made, sometimes even the best attorney cannot undo the harm caused. I would like to help you avoid making these mistakes and get the compensation you deserve.
